Special Programs
Horsemanship: Week 1, July 1-7 (TB, SH, EX)
Travel with camp staff to Sunnybrook Equestrian Center each day for small-group
beginner level instruction from trained teachers. Girls will get plenty of hands-on
experience as they learn to groom, saddle, mount and ride. Additional fee: $225
Sign and Dance: Week 2, July 8-14 (TB, SH, EX)
Learn lyrics to songs in ASL (American Sign Language), merge them with movement to
music and perform for the entire camp at the end of the week. Additional fee: $30
Rock Climbing and Rappelling: Week 2, July 8-14 (SH, EX)
Have you ever thought about Rock Climbing? Experience it at camp! Join other campers
and travel to surrounding rock climbing gyms to get the basics under your belt! After you
learn the basics, take those skills to an off-camp overnight excursion and climb the real
rocks! This experience is sure to be one you’ll never forget! Additional fee: $150
Theater Arts: Week 3, July 15-21 (TB, SH, EX)
It’s show time! Campers will audition, rehearse, and perform for our Friday evening and
Saturday morning productions. Girls who prefer to shine behind the scenes may work on
lighting, set construction and costume design. Additional fee: $30
The Art of Food: Week 4, July 22-28 (TB, SH, EX)
Do you love to cook and create edible masterpieces for your family and friends to enjoy? The sky is the limit as we discover the art of food. Whether you learn to bake bread form scratch, decorate a delicious cupcake, or master the art of creating a tasty stir-fry by the end of this week you'll be well on your way to being queen of the kitchen! Additional fee: $30
Whitewater Rafting: Week 5, July 29-August 4 (SH, EX)
Travel with camp staff to Jackman, Maine where you will spend two days on the
beautiful Kennebec River with experienced guides from Windfall Rafting. Additional fee: $150
Babysitting Course: Week 5, July 29-August 4 (TB, SH)
Looking forward to learning the skills of baby sitting? Get ready to earn some extra
money because at the end of this week you will be a trained baby sitter! Learn what to do in an
emergency and everything else you’ll need to be the best baby sitter on your block! Have an amazing week at camp AND become a baby sitter. Additional fee: $30
Sew What?: Week 6, August 5-11 (TB, SH, EX)
Sew anything! Do you think about materials and stitches? Come make your fashion
dreams come true and learn basic skills to create several masterpieces. You can create
anything! Skirts, scarves, and several other projects await you! Come learn everything
you need to know to begin making fabulous handmade projects! Additional fee: $30
