Volunteers play a key role in the ministry of Camp Cedarbrook. During the summer season and throughout the year, we rely on the support of our volunteers to maintain our facilities, help make plans for the future, and run unique programs. Whatever your age, gender, gifts, or abilities, you can help!
If you are able to give your time and energy to the ministry of Camp Cedarbrook, check out the links to the left for ways that you can get involved, or email volunteers@cedarbrookne.org

I'm interested in helping out at New England Camp Cedarbrook...
Please note that NECC will never share your information with any outside parties. This will be used by our volunteer committee only.
Boards & Committees
New England Camp Cedarbrook is governed by a volunteer board of directors who are passionate about the camp and its programs. Board members represent NECC and its mission to the New England community; give financially to the ministry according to personal means; serve as stewards of the financial, personnel, program, spiritual, and property resources God has given to the camp; and uphold the NECC mission statement, statement of faith, and corporate by-laws.
The Board of Directors is supported by a number of volunteer committees, each of which is focused on a specific area of need. If you have an interest or a skill set that is a match for one of these areas, please contact us for more information about joining a camp committee.
Alumni Committee
The alumni committee's focus is to connect and maintain contact with 65 years’ worth of Cedarbrook alumni. This group organizes regional reunion events, helps alumni reconnect with each other, and plans the annual Alumni Weekend at NECC.
Finance Committee
The finance committee is dedicated to ensuring that camp practices good financial stewardship. This group is responsible for planning and running the two major fundraisers that we have each year, Servefest and the annual online auction. Do you have skills in saving money, fundraising, grant writing, or strategic planning? We need you!
Program Committee
The program committee sets the fun themes for each summer, develops summer activities, plans divisional and all-camp programs, and works with year-round programming. If you have a passion for planning, creativity, and excitement about new ideas for camp, then this is the committee for you!
Promotions Committee
The promotions committee works to develop marketing tools and promote New England Camp Cedarbrook. This group maintains the NECC website, designs brochures, and creates camp videos. They are also responsible for the Cedarbrook Home Celebrations - outreach events designed to help girls earn a free week at camp. If you have design or marketing skills, website experience, or a vision for sharing the mission of NECC with others, then this committee is right for you.
Volunteer Committee
The volunteer committee is responsible for organizing volunteers for all of camp’s needs, from summer volunteers to year-round weekend events. They maintain the volunteer database and organize volunteer appreciation events. This group works in conjunction with the camp director, camp administrator, board of directors, and the other camp committees to fill all volunteer needs. We are especially looking for someone with tech and database skills to join this committee.
Volunteer Application
In order to ensure the safety of our campers, NECC requires any volunteers who will be at camp to undergo a background check.
